Dining

There are a ton of great restaurants on the island and even some in Sea Pines. We tend to stay close to home and also like to cook in a lot but here are some of our favorites. The ones in Sea Pines Center are all an easy bike ride as is Harbour Town if you like to bike.

In Sea Pines:

Truffles – this is probably the best dinner place for a nicer meal in Sea Pines. The quality is good, the service is good and it’s not too fancy. It can get busy in season so call ahead for a reservation if you can. (843) 671-6136

Giuseppi’s – good pizza and a favorite for close by pizza available for dine-in, take-out and delivery. 843-671-5133

Beach Club/ Coast – beautiful spot to dine and the food is really good. You can make reservations on Open Table for inside dining, it is first come-first served for outdoor dining and in the bar area (little secret: the bar area is not managed by a hostess so if there is an empty seat or table, it’s yours). You pretty much have to eat there once. There is also an adult only upstairs with live music most nights. Men have to wear a collared shirt so it is on the ‘fancy’ side for HHI.

Low Country Produce – fabulous breakfast and lunch spot. They also have specialty produce items.

Harbour Town Bakery and Café – amazing breakfast spot! Plus the kids can play on the Harbour Town Playground afterwards or while you wait.

Outside of Sea Pines

So many restaurants that you can explore but here are a few of our favorites.

Red Fish – Really good seafood and close by the main gate of Sea Pines. They are on Open Table for reservations.

Hudson’s  – for a dockside dining experience with good and mostly local seafood, try Hudson’s. It’s a drive but we think it is worth it.

La Hacienda – typical Mexican fare but better quality than some places. It is located by the Greenwood Gate in the Publix shopping center.
