Lawton Stables is a definite place to visit for any horse or animal lover. The barn and surrounding pastures are home to many different animals, from the huge Clydesdale horse Harley, to the alpacas and goats. They also offer trail rides through the Sea Pines Nature Reserve and pony rides for kids 7 and under. The horses are beautiful, and they are sure to excite the little ones. The stables has a full petting zoo which includes alpacas, Shetland ponies, pot-belly pigs, chickens, goats, sheep, and a deer named Callie. Make sure to stop by to pet and feed the sweet horses!
