Our Home

It has been a lot of fun working on this project and turning it into our home away from home. As with all things that are new, there is much to get adjusted to so we thought we’d take a few moments to help you get acclimated. However, before we do that, we’d like to ask a few favors.

  1. Please treat our home like your home! We want you to relax and enjoy yourself.
  2. Please, please, please do not take glass or ceramic items by the pool! We have provided plastic glasses (the colored ones on the left of the cooktop) and amazing plastic wine glasses (above the colored glasses) as well as melamine plates (on the right side of the cooktop with the flowers on them). There are also some plastic serving trays to take food out for those afternoon snacks, big plastic salad bowls, etc. You should find plenty of non-breakable items to enjoy your time by the pool. Of course, this goes for wine bottles and beer bottles too. Thank you for understanding!
  3. Please give us feedback! We want to know how we can make your next stay that much more enjoyable!

Here are some of the features of the home.

How Do I… ?

Operate kitchen appliances?

Operate the spa?

Operate the thermostat?

Operate the front door?

Operate the TVs?

Where can I find…?

Trash cans?

Hoses / Outdoor Shower ?

Plastic Cups for the Pool?

Other Thoughts

Here are some random thoughts for you on how we like to use the home and some other little features.

  • The rental company will provide bath towels, hand soap, and little shampoo bottles for all of the bathrooms. They will also provide startup toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher soap, dish soap, and laundry detergent. These things may be enough for your entire stay but a week’s vacation will likely need more toilet paper and shampoo. Also, pool/beach towels are not provided so you will want to bring those with you.
  • Baskets under the blue bedroom sink are there so that, if 4 people are in that room, each can place their toiletries in a basket and help keep the bathroom organized and inviting to all whom use it.
  • We have several games and puzzles there for your use as well just return them for the other guests to enjoy (under the TV in family room).
  • Paperback books in upstairs shelves are there for your pleasure. If you don’t finish a book, take it with you and if you have one you want to leave behind, feel free!
  • There are hooks in the half bath for wet pool towels as Sea Pines will not allow you to drape them over the deck.
